Using the site

Pick your hero, add the enemy team, and Edgelock builds a phased item list for that matchup. The NEXT BUY card shows the single best next item; tick items as you buy them and the card moves on. Start here.

Using the Overwolf overlay

• The desktop window opens with the app and shows whether Deadlock and a match are detected.
• In a match the NEXT BUY card stays hidden while you play. Press Ctrl+Shift+N to show or hide it (for example in the shop). It also appears when you die, when the game is paused, and before and after the match.
• Close the card with its × button. You can rebind the hotkey in Overwolf's settings.
• Guesses about what enemies buy next are off by default; turn them on in Settings.

Using the in-game HUD addon

• The addon is free and separate from the Overwolf app. It draws the NEXT BUY card inside Deadlock's own HUD.
• Install it with the included installer script, then restart Deadlock.
• A gold self-check line on the card confirms the addon loaded and can see the match.

Is it free?

Yes. The site and the in-game addon are free.

Where do the recommendations come from?

A rule-based engine adjusted by public match statistics. See About.

Does the overlay read anything hidden?

No. The overlay only uses Overwolf's official game events, which carry the same information you can see in-game. Enemy “next buy” lines are statistical guesses, not hidden data.

The card doesn't show up in a match.

It's hidden during play by design. Press Ctrl+Shift+N. If nothing happens, check the desktop window says a match is detected.

Is it affiliated with Valve?

No. Edgelock is a community tool and not affiliated with Valve.
